Project Overview

This rear-unit access platform was modelled as a coordinated SolidWorks assembly for safe maintenance access around fixed plant and building interfaces. The package resolves stair entry points, handrail continuity, support-foot positions, grated panels, and fabrication documentation.

Engineering Challenge

The challenge was coordinating an offset platform route with clear access from both ends while keeping the assembly practical for fabrication, transport, and installation. Public presentation also required removal of project identifiers and internal drawing references.

Design Solution

The solution uses a modular steel platform with twin stair access, grated deck panels, continuous guarding, bolted support feet, and redacted fabrication drawings. The website package includes a render, GLB model, and public-safe fabrication PDF.
